So yeah, after disappearing for 15 days I figured I'd better post an update. Mostly just the same old shit, but then again not really. SSDD.

I'm still working at Arby's. I quit Torrid, thank you God. Most of the girls there were such snobs it made work completely unbearable. Arby's is much better. I absolutely ADORE my assistant manager Will. Shame he's gay (& in love with Casey, I might add). I get along w/ everyone there, but especially w/ Betty & Will. Those two rock.

I got hired at Disney Store, which is no longer owned by Disney incidentally. They're now owned by The Children's Place. Go figure.

Today I just got reelected as Senate Secretary/Treasurer, yay! I'm very thrilled, since Christina (Madame President, to you) got reelected as President. She's awesome, so I'm happy.

Michael has a broken thumb. He was running around the living room as usual, & slid down the den steps. As he did that, he grabbed the big wooden chair, which landed on his thumb & almost completely ripped off the nail. He also has a fracture running the length of his thumb. It ended up getting infected, & he got friction burns from his dressing. Luckily, it hasn't stopped him from going to school, terrorizing guests, playing at home, etc.

Depressing situation: My friend/ex from Denver is coming out here for a visit. Lisa & I have known the guy for about 7 years now. He was my first & only online/long distance relationship. So naturally I've always wondered what would've happened if he lived out here. We've never even met! He's never once come out here to see me, yet one time I did plan my flight home from NM to stop in Denver to see him, & he never showed up at the airport. But he is coming out here from December 18-22... to see his "best friend" Amy from school who lives out here. So he promised me a "date", so we could hang out & all that. Yet now he's telling me, don't make any plans since I'm out there for Amy. That just makes me feel like shit. My friends are saying FUCK IT, don't meet him. But curiousity is getting the best of me, so I still want to meet the jerk.

Seen a few new movies: Seed of Chucky (can't even put into words how badly it sucked), Saw (incredibly creepy & good), The Grudge (still gives me nightmares), & OF COURSE Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason. I actually saw that one twice, Friday & Saturday. Mom bought me the book, so I'm re-reading it.

I can honestly say I now know what it's like to be back from the brink of insanity. I've just spent the last two days at the LA Metro Mental Health Center... essentially an institution. The path to me getting there is a bit foggy. In fact, the past week is a bit foggy.

I found out a few important things. My Anxiety-Panic Disorder is so severe that it does induce seizures. I had one on Tuesday night, that's why the only thing I remember is laying down to sleep then arriving at LA Metro. I also have Manic Depressive Disorder. I'm on medications, naturally, so hopefully it'll turn out ok.

I also found out I can tackle just about anything. I can handle my life & everything that's thrown at me. I just have to believe.

It feels incredibly surreal to be home. But I'm glad to be home.

Last night I went to Haunt w/ Chris & Lisa. It was pretty fun. Lisa was fighting w/ her man & depressed about her soulmate, & Casey & I weren't on the best of terms. So we figured we needed to get out, have fun, & hang out w/ a guy neither of us are going out with LOL.

Chris got off work around 6pm, but didn't pick us up til like 6:45. Which was actually ok, b/c Lisa & I ate at my house since we're both broke LOL We parked close thank God. I had decided to go ahead & walk that night, w/out my cane or wheelchair or NOTHING! So I was nervous, but I figured I'd be ok. Sore today, but ok at the very least.

We went inside, & the first maze we came across was "Red Beard's Revenge". It was ok, not very scary. I just loved it b/c it was a PIRATES theme! ARGH! I sent Chris & Lisa through first, b/c Travis told me there was a moving floor. I did not want me to get injured. They said it was fine, there was just one part where the floor moved from side to side, like your on a ship. So we went in it, & I loved it!

After that we headed to "Lore of the Vampire" by way of “The Gauntlet” (aka Camp Snoopy). I always love that one. A monster kept following Lisa throughout the maze, saying her name. He got the other monsters to do it too, which made it funnier! I ran into one of my school friends who was a monster LOL

Right before we went into Vampire, Chris found his ex-girlfriend (“the one”). Which was uncomfortable to say the least. She stayed w/ us until after the spider maze, but it was still weird. I can’t imagine how weird it must’ve been for Chris, having me & her there, two of his exes. Lisa did NOT like her LOL Come to think of it, neither did I. But it ended up being just the 3 of us, so it worked out ok.

Lisa & I had made a deal before heading to Haunt: if I went in “Curse of the Spider”, she would go in “Carnival of Carnivorous Clowns From Outer Space”. She hates clowns, & I hate that maze b/c they have sounds of children dying & being eaten & all that. I did go in the spider maze, but I was so damn close to having a panic attack. But I did it! Yay!

After that we headed through CarnEVIL (aka The Boardwalk). Not too many monsters in there, so we got a break LOL

Then it was time for the infamous Clowns! Lisa was freaking out. It’s a 3-D maze, so Chris bought the 3 of us 3-D glasses. She did NOT want to go in, but we made a deal. Chris told her about a trick to keep the monsters at bay, since he usually works right at the exit to that maze. It sort of worked, but she ran the last few feet (then got scared by a monster) out of the maze like she was on fire!

After that we decided it was time to eat & sit down for “The Hanging”, one show I NEVER miss! Lisa & I got funnel cakes, & Chris got a bread bowl. We sat down & relaxed for an hour or so, waiting for the show to start. It was TOO hilarious!! I’ll try to remember everyone they got: Paris Hilton & Nicole Ritchie, Blade, Van Helsing, Spiderman, the Six Flags old guy, Harry Potter, The Village, Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson, Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, Bush, John Kerry, Garfield, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Ryan Seacrest, Michael Jackson, The Bride from Kill Bill… I can’t even remember ALL of them LOL

After that we went to the Gypsy Camp, b/c Lisa & I wanted to get our fortunes read LOL There was a LONG line, so we decided to hit some mazes first & do the fortune telling if we had time later.

Chris & Lisa went on “Red Mood Massacre”. I figured my knee would get too jostled on that ride, so I sat down & waited for them. I was right. Lisa slipped getting out of the ride & messed her knee up.

So we headed over to “The Asylum”, which is where the shit really hit the fan LOL We were sufficiently scared, until we reached the Maximum Security Ward. We passed by a chain link fence on the right hand side. It was a room filled with beds & monsters in those beds. Lisa was yelling “I want that bed!” We didn’t realize that we actually had to GO in that room! So we went in the room, & she was busy talking to the monster on the right & didn’t notice the monster on the left who flew down LOL She literally jumped 2 feet in the air, & when she came back down I guess she didn’t have her footing or something, b/c she landed flat on her back! It was HILARIOUS!!! She had a death grip on me, so I almost ate it too. Chris couldn’t stop laughing, it was classic!

We saw “Dr. Cleaver’s Psycho Circus”, which was awesome. It was a mix of comedy & song/dance numbers. The jokes were just WRONG! They totally messed w/ Mary Kate, Disney’s California Adventures, American Idol, you name it LOL I will never look at the Log Ride the same way, that’s all I can say.

After the show we hit the rest of the mazes we missed: “Blood Bayou”, “Hatchet High”, “Army of the Underworld”, & “Jaguar: Temple of Sacrifice”. I didn’t go in Hatchet High b/c my friend told me they had moving floors, which of course they DIDN’T! I had never been on Army, & that was freaky LOL I was like clinging to Chris! I got the most scared at Jaguar, go figure LOL Lisa freaked when she realized we were actually going on the damn ride!

The park closed after that, so we headed out. Chris & I weren’t tired at all, & Lisa was just a bit tired. So we decided to drive around in the incredibly freaky fog LOL We couldn’t see the top of Supreme Scream when we were standing at the entrance of the ride! That’s how foggy it was! Chris took us down the 405, which is really really bad in the fog. We hit Denny’s, though Lisa didn’t eat. We all went home after that.

I couldn’t sleep, & I was talking to Chris via text messages & online (who also couldn’t sleep). He asked if I wanted to come over, which I couldn’t. I would’ve ended up being there all night, & Mom would’ve killed me LOL So I told him to go ahead & come over. He got there around 2:45 am & stayed until about 5 am. It was nice. I got to just talk to someone, & not have them judge me or give me advice or anything. Not only that, it was even better b/c Chris is my ex from high school. He knew before all this crap happened.
